Businesses that qualify for this group must be based in the state and must meet certain levels in number of employees and annual revenue. Employee growth, growth over a period of years and growth as compared to industry average were additional criteria for eligibility.
“They are the companies enriching our (Tennessee’s) local and regional economies, providing jobs and fueling the Volunteer State’s entrepreneurial culture. The stories behind these businesses speak volumes about the value of free enterprise,” said BusinessTN Magazine Editor Drew Ruble.
In addition to the top 100 ranking, the businesses that made the list were divided into sub-categories depending on the age of the companies and any recent changes or market growth that may be occurring. Ameri Care is considered a Tennessee-based company that has become particularly “hot” in their business niche.
“We’re extremely proud to have been selected for this honor,” said Ameri Care Owner Tom Swett. “To be in the ranks of such fine companies, many of them nationally recognized, is humbling.”
“But, the credit goes to our staff. It is their effort, dedication and commitment that makes the wheels go round here at the office and out in the field. They are our backbone.”
Ameri Care Services corporate office is located in Rutherford County, one of the top 20 fastest growing counties in the nation.
“Though the housing boom has slowed slightly, we continue to experience steady growth, and that’s really what fuels opportunity. You just have to be willing to put in the hours and hard work. Our team does that and then some,” concludes Swett.
