MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Wanda Woodard, marketing & business development director for Ameri Care Services, has been selected to serve as an officer for the Volunteer Diplomat Program of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce. Woodard has been serving as a diplomat since January 2008.
“We made a commitment to the economic development of our county by becoming more involved in our area Chamber,” said Ameri Care Owner Tom Swett. “The Diplomat program puts us in the forefront of every new business owner and subsequent resident of Rutherford County. Over the past year, we’ve seen the benefits of involvement with our Chamber. This is just the next step.”
The Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce is the third largest chamber in the state of Tennessee.
“Wanda and Ameri Care continue to contribute to our community’s growth and development. We are pleased that she and her company have accepted the additional responsibilities that come with our Diplomat Officer’s role,” stated Chamber Membership Director Kelli Beam. “We’re excited about 2009, and we expect to see more opportunity and prosperity for us all.”
