MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Wanda Woodard, the marketing and business development director for Ameri Care Services, a Middle Tennessee termite, pest control and moisture management solutions company, has been awarded Diplomat of the Month by the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce. Woodard has been serving as a diplomat since the beginning of 2008.
The Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce is the third largest chamber in the state of Tennessee. “We recognize the importance of economic development and business growth. By becoming more active in our chamber, we’re contributing to the growth of the entire area, and with Wanda’s background, she is able to really make a difference,” said Ameri Care Owner Tom Swett.
Diplomats are strictly volunteers and assist in Ribbon Cuttings for news businesses, fund raisers and networking and educational events throughout the year. “Our Chamber is extremely active, and our Diplomat program has always been well received. We have nearly fifty every year. We’re very happy to have Wanda on board; with her enthusiasm and energy we’ve already seen some great things happening,” said Chamber Director of Membership Kelli Beam.
“The Chamber is a great place for networking, and it gives Ameri Care even more opportunities and to give back to our community. I love it,” said Woodard.
