Ameri Care Services Finance Director Deborah Swett Earns Certification

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Deborah Swett, Ameri Care Services finance director, has successfully completed training and has earned her GRC certification from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture. Certification is a requirement for all pest control field technicians.

“And it’s not easy,” said owner Tom Swett. “Deborah handles our Human Resources which includes financial activities, payroll, AP & AR, and employee benefits which means that in addition to our office staff, she works with our field representatives on a daily basis.”

Deborah Swett has been with Ameri Care for 10 years. Ameri Care serves all of Middle Tennessee including Rutherford, Davidson and Williamson Counties.

“Though I am primarily in the office, I believe that it is important to be on the same page as our field technicians,” she said. “I need to be able to not only know the terminology but understand it as well.”

Industry-wide office personnel are not required to earn certification. “So, our personnel’s taking the extra effort to learn says a lot about our company. Understanding the customer’s needs, offering a choice of solutions, depending on their comfort level, is what we do best,” said Ameri Care Marketing Director Wanda Woodard.
