NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — American Vanguard Corporation (AMVAC) announced the promotion of Scott Hendrix to senior vice president of U.S. and Canada crop sales and application technology, which includes the development and launch of AMVAC’s SIMPAS system.
This promotion expands Hendrix’s previous role as AMVAC’s vice president of U.S. crop sales. He will continue to oversee U.S. crop sales and assume oversight of AMVAC’s equipment development and Canadian sales.
“Hendrix’s promotion is one of the internal changes focused on AMVAC’s growth initiatives,” said Eric Wintemute, chairman and CEO of AMVAC. “We are confident he will continue to help us achieve our company’s goals in this expanded position.”
Hendrix has 23 years of industry experience in maximizing brand revenue and equity in the cotton market, expanding brand market share and leading sales teams. He holds a Bachelor of Science in agri-business from Northeast Louisiana University.
