NORTHBROOK, Ill. – Anderson Pest Control held its 30th annual pest control seminar last week. The one-day long program covered a variety of pest management topics, theories, techniques, and regulations.

Anderson Pest Control sponsors this seminar with the cooperation of the North Suburban Health Council and affiliate public health organizations. The seminars were begun in 1975 and Dr. Austin Frishman has spoken at all 30 seminars, while Dr. Bobby Corrigan has spoken at every seminar since 1983. The pair was recognized with plaques by Charles O’Hara, chairman & CEO of Anderson, and Charles O'Hara Sr., (former president of NPCA, as well as a founding member of Illinois Pest Control Association).

“As Austin stated, establishing this conference was groundbreaking at the time - the thought of gathering health officials and pest management professionals together in joint training and to gain common understanding had never been done before,” said Mark O’Hara, vice president of Anderson Pest Control.

In addition to Frishman and Corrigan, presentations were given by Dave Shangle, Dalsh Consulting Inc., Burr Ridge, Ill.; and Tom Dobrinska, training director, Anderson Pest Control, Elmhurst, Ill.
