TAMPA, Fla. — Entrepreneur Mark Allen Gristy is looking for a home run when he auctions autographed copies of Brian Kilmeade's The Games Do Count: America's Best and Brightest on the Power of Sports. Net proceeds of the private book sale will be donated to military stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Gristy was looking for an inspirational book as a gift to motivate and thank his clients. He chose Brian Kilmeade's new book, a compilation of interviews of celebrities and politicians including Condoleezza Rice, Jon Bon Jovi and Henry Kissinger retelling stories of how competing in sports molded their lives. The books to be auctioned have been personalized by the author with the 'Make it a great year in 2005. Merry Christmas.'

Gristy has created a page within his company's Web site, www.antfix.com/Kilmeade, and placed the books for sale on eBay. By donating proceeds from the private sale of the book, Gristy saw an opportunity to give back to the soldiers fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.
