ELK GROVE, Calif. — Anticimex recently announced the acquisition of Official Pest Prevention, Elk Grove, Calif.
Official Pest was founded in 2000 by brothers Jeff and Jamie Davenport. In 2013, the business expanded its operations by acquiring brother John Davenport’s pest control business in Fresno, Calif. The Davenport brothers have built a fast-growing pest management firm that continues to generate double digit organic growth year over year.
Brian Alexson, regional president of Anticimex North America, said, “The acquisition of Official Pest Prevention represents another important step in our strategy to expand on the West Coast. Official Pest has a long and proud history as a leading provider of high-quality pest control services and has an impressive track record of growth. Together with the local management team, we will continue to grow Official and accelerate our growth in California and beyond.”
Jamie, Jeff and John Davenport, co-owners of Official Pest, said, “Anticimex’s core values — trust, innovation and passion — are perfectly aligned with ours, and we are confident that as part of the Anticimex family of companies, Official Pest has the opportunity to accelerate its growth and achieve even greater success. We anticipate tremendous opportunities for both our business and our employees.”
