BAYONNE, N.J. — AP&G Co. employees came through for their community this season by donating their winter coats to those in need. David Leon, AP&G human resources director, coordinated the drive.
Leon collected a total of 54 pieces, all brought in by AP&G employees. Coats were sorted and dropped off for donation to the Jersey Cares Coat Drive. The new and gently used winter coats for men, women and children were later distributed to local people in need through non-profit organizations.
As a leader in volunteerism in New Jersey, Jersey Cares increases the level of meaningful volunteer engagement by creating and managing efficient, impactful projects that address critical community-identified needs.
“It was great to see the team come together to help those in the community who are in need,” said Jonathan Frisch, vice president, sales and marketing, AP&G. “I was not at all surprised to see the generous spirit of our employees come through for a great cause. Kudos to David for his coordination and hard work to make this coat drive happen.”
