DALLAS, Texas — On , April 27, seven tornadoes moved through east Texas, devastating an area of more than 500 square miles. Texas-based Ardent Pest Control knew that they wanted to help their community and began looking for a way that their company could have a positive impact on those who had been affected. On May 27, Ardent loaded seven vehicles with 26 employees and headed off to the heart of the damage. The group split into teams and joined the Helping Hands program, spreading out among five different areas to help as many families as possible. They hauled debris, salvaged household items, delivered water, and did their best to spread hope, the company said.
