The company was certified by the City of Phoenix and Arizona Department of Transportation as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the City of Phoenix. PHOENIX, Ariz. — Arizona Pest Squad was recently certified by the City of Phoenix and Arizona Department of Transportation as Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the City of Phoenix. The company also received certification as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) from the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council (NMSDC).

The SBE program certifies firms to participate in city of Phoenix business opportunities available for small business owners located in Maricopa County. The DBE designation is broader and is valid for work with the City of Phoenix as well as all U. S. Department of Transportation contracts for highway, transit and airport programs. These include funding from the Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Transit Administration and Federal Highway Administration. The certification is valid on all contracts that specify the utilization of DBE subcontractors.

"Arizona Pest Squad is proud of obtaining certification as a Small Business Enterprise and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise," says David Marshall, CEO of Arizona Pest Squad. "These designations provide a level playing field to good businesses that want to participate in government contracts. We look forward to establishing Arizona Pest Squad as a preferred vendor for the City of Phoenix, ADOT and prime contractors that are looking for a highly rated pest management partner."

Arizona Pest Squad also received certification as a Minority Business Enterprise from the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council (NMSDC), a global leader in advancing minority business opportunity. Certification was awarded to David Marshall, Founder and CEO of Arizona Pest Squad, at a ceremony hosted by Scott Gregory, President and CEO of the Pacific Southwest chapter of the NMSDC.

"Arizona Pest Squad is proud to accept certification as a Minority Business Enterprise," says David Marshall. "I saw the significant benefits this designation has provided other members of the National Pest Management Association's Diversity Committee, of which I am a member, and the hard work we have done to create a unique customer experience in pest management makes us ready to take full advantage of the exceptional opportunity the NMSDC provides its members."

Arizona Pest Squad is one of only four pest management companies in the NMSDC's Pacific Southwest region with this designation and the only one to receive recognition from Yelp, the Better Business Bureau, PCT Magazine and the National Pest Management Association for providing exceptional customer service, driving rapid growth and striving to build the reputation of the pest industry.

"The mission of the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council is to provide certification, promotion, information and resources that directly contribute to business growth for our members," notes Scott Gregory. "We are proud to welcome Arizona Pest Squad to our membership and look forward to their participation at the many events we sponsor to connect minority businesses with our corporate members."
