ATLANTA — The acquisitions team of Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators, led by Kevin Burns, vice president of new business development, achieved a company milestone with its sixth acquisition in the past eight months.

The recent acquisition of A Action Exterminators, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., brings to fruition Arrow’s 20-year search for superior pest control companies in their top three most desired markets: St. Simons Island, Ga.; Jacksonville, Fla.; and the panhandle of Florida. This is Arrow’s 92nd acquisition since 1989 and the second in Florida this year.

Since opening its doors in 1975, A Action has provided superior termite and pest control services to 4,000 customers in Okaloosa, Escambia, Santa Rosa, Bay and Walton Counties. A Action President and Co-Owner Justin Warner knew, upon meeting with Arrow’s acquisitions team, he had found a perfect fit. He recognized that his company, customers and their employees would be treated by Arrow with the same level of service, professionalism and respect to which they had become accustomed. All A Action employees, including Justin who ran the company’s day-to-day operations the past six years, will be joining Arrow’s growing family.

“Although we have been searching for quality pest control companies to merge with in the Florida Panhandle for numerous years, our new, focused acquisitions team made it a reality in less than a year,” said Joe Thomas, Arrow’s CEO. “For the past 20 years, Arrow’s goal has been to expand our geographic presence and the purchase of A Action Exterminators provides us with a platform to continue our growth along the gulf coast.”

“Justin and his team have built a very reputable company for which they should be proud,” added Arrow COO Emily Thomas. “We are thrilled to have the employees as part of Arrow’s extended family.”

“The past eight months has been a phenomenal opportunity for Arrow to continue our growth strategy in three of our most coveted markets,” said Burns. “I am very proud of every member of our acquisitions team. We are committed to achieving our vision of becoming the largest family-owned pest management company in the U.S.”
