ATLANTA, Ga. — Arrow Exterminators has acquired Kannapolis Exterminating, located in Kannapolis, N.C., just outside of Charlotte, N.C. Fred Jordan, former owner of Kannapolis Exterminating, purchased the business in 1979 and ran the day-to-day operations of the company for the past 27 years.

“We are truly excited to have a presence in the great state of North Carolina,” said Arrow CEO Joe Thomas. “We believe the Carolinas offer tremendous opportunities for growth in the termite and pest control business and will continue to pursue other top quality companies as part of our acquisition strategy.”

“Arrow is dedicating significant resources to demonstrate to other PMP’s we are no longer a “Georgia company” but one that is very much national in scope,” added Emily Thomas, COO of Arrow. “We started down this path in 1998 with an acquisition in Phoenix, Ariz., and have continued to expand our geography by purchasing companies in Arlington and Dallas, Texas and Las Vegas, N.V., in the past three years.”

“Kannapolis Exterminating is a wonderful company comprised of dedicated individuals. This is a great addition to the Arrow family,” said Joey Edwards, Corporate VP of Acquisitions.
