Arrow Announces Series of Personnel Changes, Additions

Arrow Exterminators has announced a series of changes and additions, including the promotion of Tammy Star to the position of vice president of Corporate Special Projects.

ATLANTA, Ga. — Arrow Exterminators has announced a series of changes and additions to the company.

Tammy Starr has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president of Corporate Special Projects. Starr has done an excellent job leading the Customer Care Department over the last few years and has positioned the department and the company to take on the challenge of converting Arrow’s computer software system. In this new role, Starr will report to Arrow COO Emily Thomas, who will prioritize the projects that members of the Executive Committee have listed as necessary to take the company to $200 million dollars in revenue. “With Tammy’s project management experience and organizational skills, she will be outstanding in this position,” Thomas said.

In a related move, Anna Silvers has been promoted to director of Customer Care. Silvers has been with the company for over 12 years and has made significant contributions in every position she has held, including roles in the Sentricon, Pest Control and Pretreat departments. Silvers held the distinction of being the top CSR in the company for many years before moving on as Office Manager and then Branch Manager of the Alpharetta, Ga., Office.

“In September of 2005 Anna came to work in the Corporate Customer Care Department and has a done an excellent job in that role,” Emily Thomas added. As director of the Customer Care Department Silvers will not only direct the CCD for the company, but will also assume the leadership for the Computer System Conversion Project.

In Arrow’s Texas operation, Mark Kelsey has been promoted to branch manager of the Arlington, Texas, branch office. Kelsey has been with the company for more than 15 years. He started as a pest control technician before moving on as a sales inspector in both the Buckhead, Ga., and Dallas, Texas, offices. Kelsey was a member of Arrow’s Premier Club for many years. “I hate to lose Mark from the sales department but am excited for him to shine in his new role. Mark’s proven track record, strong work ethic, and attention to customer service will serve him well as Branch Manager,” said Kevin Burns, V.P. of Sales.
