Arrow Announces Series of Promotions

ATLANTA, Ga – Arrow Exterminators recently announced the following changes and additions to their branches.

In the corporate office, Rick Bell has been promoted to the new position of vice president of governmental affairs/industry stewardship and technical services. In this role Rick will be responsible for governmental relations (state and national), regulatory compliance, and industry stewardship. Bell will continue in his roles serving on the Georgia Structural Pest Control Commission and the National Pest Management Association’s Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA). “We are very proud of Rick’s accomplishments and contributions not only to Arrow but to the industry at large. We know he will continue to flourish in this new role,” said Joe Thomas, CEO, Arrow Exterminators.

In a related move, Richard Spencer has been promoted to assistant vice president of technical services & quality control. In this role, Spencer will oversee the day to day management of the technical services & quality control division with Bell overseeing the overall company direction in technical services and quality control. Spencer joined the Arrow Family in the Fall of 2005 as project development manager. “In a very short time Richard has had a tremendous impact and we look forward to his future with the company,” said Emily Thomas, COO.

Larry Novy has been promoted to district manager of the Dallas and Arlington, Texas, operations. Novy joined the Arrow team when his company, Sterling Pest Management was acquired in June 2003.

Eric Gabe has been named branch manager of the Buckhead, Atlanta office. Gabe returned to Arrow after living in Colorado for four years. Eric has worked for Arrow for 5 ½ years

Wanda Deaton has been promoted to accounting director of the corporate accounting department. Deaton has been with Arrow for almost 20 years. “She is most deserving of this promotion and I have the utmost confidence in the job she will do in her new role,” said Brent Purcell, CFO. In a related move, Kelly Trammell has joined the corporate accounting department. Trammell joined Arrow in March of 2004 as a pest control technicians in Metro Atlanta’s Buckhead Office.
