ATLANTA — Arrow Exterminators recently held the company’s annual Fiscal Year Kickoff meeting at the Georgia Tech Conference Center in Atlanta, Ga.
With over 230 in attendance, the two-day event celebrated achievements from the prior fiscal year and focused on a strong start to the 2015/2016 fiscal year. Additionally, there were 35 company awards presented to those with exceptional performance.
The second day of the meeting was dedicated to a leadership and motivational workshop called “Chess not Checkers” hosted by Randy Gravitt. During this interactive workshop, the management team worked together to learn the four essential strategies from the game of chess that when applied to business can elevate leadership and performance. “Randy Gravitt’s workshop was the perfect fit for Arrow as we just achieved double digit revenue growth for the 5th year in a row and remain committed to strategic growth,” said Tim Pollard, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
“After such a phenomenal, record-breaking year it was my distinct pleasure to award and acknowledge those that helped us not only meet but exceed our company goals,” said Emily Thomas Kendrick, President and CEO of Arrow Exterminators. “The focus on building leadership skills and strategic planning resonated with our team and the managers left with an enthused and renewed sense of commitment.”
