More than 100 managers and corporate staff attended the 2½-day meeting. “In this fast-paced, rapidly growing industry, our goal this past week was to empower, motivate and strengthen our leadership team,” said Arrow CEO Joe Thomas.
The meeting’s theme, “Winning Every Day,” created an atmosphere of friendly competition and team camaraderie among the participants who were divided into eight collegiate football teams. “We chose this theme because our managers are very similar to coaches – they are dedicated, decisive, enthusiastic and they understand what it takes to win,” said Ray Crim, senior executive vice president. “We’re providing our already talented managers with a Playbook to sharpen their skills and keep us ahead of the competition,” added Emily Thomas, COO.
After a few days of team building and concentrated learning, attendees relaxed and enjoyed the Delray Beach area on the weekend while eagerly anticipating the announcement of team winners during the closing awards dinner. “What an incredible few days,” added Emily Thomas. “With all the preparation and planning that went into this meeting as well as the 110% participation, enthusiasm and attitude of every participant, this meeting was the best in the history of the company.”
