ATLANTA – Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators announced Mickey Thomas, senior vice president of customer care and inside sales, as one of the recipients of the National Pest Management Association’s (NPMA) 2022 Impact Award for Women in Pest Management during the industry’s annual Women’s Forum in Nashville, Tenn.
The Impact Award for Women in Pest Management was created to honor and celebrate exceptional women at all levels within the pest management industry and in any role, including management, technical/service, sales, or administration.
“I’m extremely honored and grateful to be recognized as a recipient of NPMA’s Impact Award for Women in Pest Management,” said Thomas. “It’s humbling to know that my passion and growth for the industry does not go unnoticed.”
Thomas started with Arrow 16 years ago as a customer care representative. Since then, she has held several positions in the company, including regional inside sales manager, vice president of customer care and inside sales, and most recently, senior vice president of customer care and inside sales.
Thomas is no stranger to multitasking and has achieved stupendous results because of her hard work. She currently serves on the Georgia Pest Control Association’s (GPCA) Golf Committee, as well as NPMA’s Professional Women in Pest Management Committee, Marketing to Membership Committee, and is a part of their Executive Leadership Program. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, working in her yard, and shopping.
“It is such an honor for Mickey and our company to be recognized alongside such a fantastic group of leaders in the industry,” said Emily Thomas Kendrick, CEO. “We also want to extend a congratulations to all the other fantastic women that were nominated and received this prestigious award. I am very pleased to see that other women in our industry are being recognized as innovative leaders.”
