Arrow Names Runion Director of Sentricon Quality Assurance

Arrow Exterminators announced that Shay Runion has joined the company in the newly created role of director of Sentricon Quality Assurance.

ATLANTA, Ga. – Arrow Exterminators announced that Shay Runion has joined the company in the newly created role of director of Sentricon Quality Assurance.

In this role, Runion will be providing leadership and management for all branches as it relates to Sentricon. Runion was previously an account rep for Dow AgroSciences, where she developed a keen understanding of the pest management business. Runion is a graduate of Auburn University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in entomology from the University of Florida.

Emily Thomas, chief operating officer for Arrow said, “We are very fortunate in being able to attract a person like Shay Runion who is capable of moving into higher leadership positions here at Arrow. There is no doubt in my mind that we have some of the best people in the industry and there is always room for more as we continue to grow.”

In a related move, Ron Sherman has been promoted to the position of director of Sentricon Quality Assurance for metro Atlanta. Sherman was previously the branch manager for Arrow’s West Cobb, Ga., office. To fill the vacancy left by Sherman’s promotion, Tony Jones has joined the company and has been named the Branch Manager for West Cobb.

OTHER CHANGES. Arrow also announced several other changes to their organization:

David Gagliano has been promoted to vice president of Region I. Gagliano has served in various roles for the company over the years including pest control technician, termite technician, Sentricon supervisor, service nanager and branch manager. Prior to this role, David was a district manager for Region II.

Brad Short has been promoted to the position of district manager for the South Metro District in Region I and will report to Gagliano. Short was previously the branch manager for Arrow’s McDonough, Ga., branch office. In related moves, Fred Sherman is now the branch manager for the Newnan, Ga., office while Larry Ownby will be the branch manager for the McDonough, Ga., office. Ron Burton has been promoted to branch manager in the Dunwoody, Ga., Office. Burton was previously Assistant Branch Manager.

In Arrow’s Tennessee operation, Bobby Lane has been named branch manager of the Knoxville, Tenn., branch office. Lane is a long-time Arrow employee and makes the move to Knoxville after producing excellent results in Arrow’s Pigeon Forge, Tenn., branch office. Glen Ensley has been named branch manager in Arrow’s Pigeon Forge, Tenn., office, replacing Bobby Lane.

Moving south to Arrow’s Florida operation, Robbie Ringler has been named branch manager of the Port Charlotte office. Ringler has held a number of key positions in the company, most recently as a branch manager in the Bradenton office and as a regional field trainer for Region VI.

Finally, Mike Derman has accepted the position of division manager for Arrow’s New Construction Division, based in Atlanta. Derman previously held the position of branch manager for the Phoenix, Ariz., and Dunwoody, Ga., branch offices, respectively.
