Arrow Serves as Presenting Sponsor of St. Jude's Recovery Center Event

ATLANTA, Ga. - Arrow Exterminators served for the second year in a row as Presenting Sponsor for St. Jude’s Recovery Center’s “Voices of Recovery” annual luncheon event held recently in Atlanta. The event coincided with St. Jude’s 47th anniversary and raised more than $80,000 in sponsorships and donations throughout the Atlanta metro area. A group of Arrow employees were invited to attend the event as guests of Emily Thomas, Arrow’s president and chief operating officer, who also serves on the board of directors for St. Jude’s.

Mariel Hemingway, granddaughter of illustrious author Ernest Hemingway, was the guest speaker and Brenda Wood, local television news anchor, was emcee. Michael Hanley, board of birector with the Hanley Family Foundation, was honored at the event for his dedication and commitment to helping those who struggle with the disease of alcohol and drug addiction.

“The disease of addiction touches every organization and family in some way, shape or form, and its effects are devastating,” said Emily Thomas. “St. Jude’s is committed to improving the quality of life for individuals and families affected by the disease of addiction and I am proud to be involved with their efforts.”
