ATLANTA – Arrow Exterminators Inc. has introduced a variety of services to assist homeowners and businesses in significantly reducing their mosquito populations.
Arrow’s Mosquito Prevention and Control Program includes several options.
A comprehensive, four-step prevention/control services, which include:
• Professional Inspection – The entire property is inspected for mosquito breeding and resting sites.
• Detailed Assessment and Consultation – Inspectors review the results and determine the best prevention and control strategy for the property.
• Prevention Measures – Highly effective larvicides are used to prevent immature mosquitoes from becoming adults.
• Control of Mosquitoes – The program effectively reduces the population of adult mosquitoes on the property.
Two Liquid Barrier Treatments:
• Monthly Treatments
• “Event-Based” Services (ideal for special events such as outdoor weddings or parties)
CoastalMister™ Automatic Mosquito Misting System, a technologically advanced, time-activated mosquito misting system
• A fully automated misting system is installed by placing inconspicuous nozzles in the areas where mosquitoes may rest.
• Timers are programmed to mist at preset times, typically twice a day (very early morning and late at night) for 20 seconds.
• There is also an on-demand feature that allows misting prior to outdoor functions.
• Mosquitoes are killed on contact and the population is reduced during misting intervals.
• System consists of a 30- or 55-gallon drum reservoir with a pump, a ½-HP electric motor and control panel mounted on top. Through nylon tubing and precision nozzles, a fine mist of exactly measured insecticide is delivered to create a “protection zone” against mosquitoes.
Arrow Exterminators offers free site evaluations to help each customer determine which services best meets their individual’s and company’s needs.
According to Rick Bell, vice president of technical services for Arrow Exterminators, the company predicts a large mosquito problem this summer due to the early spring rains and a summer forecast of high humidity and high temperatures causing hit-or-miss afternoon thunderstorms in the Southeast.
