NEW YORK – On Oct. 30, Assured Environments conducted its annual training seminar for technicians and staff.
“The Assured Environments Annual Training Day is one of the major highlights of the year as our entire team has access to so many great industry minds in one venue,” said Andrew Feldstein, vice president of operations.
It was a very successful day thanks to the guest speakers, technicians and valued clients who support this annual event, the company reports. Throughout the course of the day, Assured Environments’ technicians heard about the latest technologies and approaches for managing bed bugs from Jeff White, of BedBug Central. Next, Louis Sorkin of Entsult Associates discussed what attracts fabric pests and the “Dirty Dozen of Museum Pests.” Bobby Corrigan spoke about how urban rodents impact food safety and public health as well as new rodent sensory technology being tested in our industry. Lastly, technicians learned about the intricacies of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) inspections from Austin Frishman, and filth flies from Matt Fyre. Equipped with this knowledge, Assured Environments says it looks forward to better serving its clients.
