CARY, N.C. – Atticus announced the appointment of Jon Boljesic to the newly created position of Chief Legal Officer. In his role, Boljesic will bring together cross-functional and legal expertise to elevate industry engagement and position Atticus for long-term success, the company said.
Boljesic joins Atticus as a strategic legal leader in the pesticide industry. Most recently, he served as General Counsel at Envu, where he led a global team and held responsibility for all legal and compliance matters across the organization.
Prior to his time at Envu, Boljesic held several roles at Bayer CropScience. He began his legal career in private practice, where he focused primarily on patent litigation before federal courts, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the International Trade Commission.
Boljesic earned his B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He and his wife, Vinca, have three daughters: Nina, Clara and Ella. In his spare time, Boljesic enjoys Michigan football, reading, cooking and attempting to golf.
