Avenger Pest Management to Join Rentokil North America

READING, Pa. – Avenger Pest Management, headquartered in Rome, Ga., has entered into an agreement to join Rentokil North America. The announcement was made by Victor Hammel, CEO of Rentokil North America. 

Avenger provides residential, commercial and multi-family housing pest management services in northwestern Georgia. The company was founded eight years ago by Tom and Casey Madden. Avenger’s 14 coworkers will continue their employment with Rentokil, including Tim Madden who will serve as district manager.

 “We are thrilled with the addition of Avenger to our growing presence in Georgia,” said Hammel. “Tom Madden built a thriving business in a few short years.  We are looking forward to continuing the quality work he began and offering Avenger’s coworkers even greater opportunities.

Rentokil also has an office in Atlanta. 

Avenger owner Tom Madden explained his reasons for choosing Rentokil.  “After receiving numerous offers to purchase Avenger Pest Management, I chose Rentokil because of our shared goals - treat your customers and employees as if they were yours forever. What really sold me was meeting some of the Rentokil coworkers.  They were awesome, and I knew it would be a smooth transition.  We were able to retain 100% of the employees and provide them with more incentives and better benefits. It is something I would do again in a New York minute.”

District Manager Tim Madden added, “I’m very happy to be joining the Rentokil family. I look forward to growing this district and continuing to provide top notch service to Georgia businesses and homeowners.”

Avenger represents the third significant acquisition Rentokil has made in the last nine months.  In September 2007, the company acquired Presto-X of Omaha, Neb., and its $30 million in revenues. In February 2008, Watch All of Weymouth, Mass., joined the Rentokil family of brands.
