AMVAC Introduces AVESTA CS Broad-Spectrum Insecticide

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — AMVAC Chemical Corporation, a business unit of American Vanguard Corporation, announced it will offer AVESTA CS. The broad-spectrum insecticide complements the company’s current pest management product line

AVESTA CS is the first AMVAC product to feature lambda-cyhalothrin as its active ingredient. Its low toxicity and ability to control dozens of pests, such as mosquitoes, ants, cockroaches, spiders, flies and ticks, make it an ideal solution for both indoor and outdoor applications.

AVESTA CS microencapsulates its active ingredient, providing a controlled release. The product will be available in 8 or 32 oz. squeeze-and-pour bottles and can be used in yard sprays to control mosquitos and other pests. AVESTA CS will be available for purchase beginning fourth quarter of 2016.
