BASF Joins Forces with APMA, UACES, for Termite Workshop

BASF, along with the Arkansas Pest Management Association and University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, will hold a termite workshop on March 11.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — BASF, along with the Arkansas Pest Management Association and University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, will hold a termite workshop on March 11.

The full-day program will include presentations from Dr. Bob Davis, a market development research specialist for BASF’s professional pest control group; Mike Howard, a senior sales specialist for BASF; Dr. John Hopkins, cooperative extension urban entomologist for University of Arkansas; and Phil Bennett, Arkansas Pest Management Association and The BugMan, Inc.

Presentation topics include: an overview of termiticides, application techniques, termiticide treatment calculations, and an outside the classroom in-person treatment. During the treatment portion attendees will learn site preparation, paperwork, calculations, rig calibration, PPE, mixing and treatment methods.
