ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Termites may be damaging the structural integrity of houses across the nation. Want to help your homeowner customers get rid of these hungry home-wreckers? Check out the “Most Endangered Studs Contest” from BASF.
BASF is sponsoring the contest to find the nation’s most termite-endangered home. The grand prize: up to $10,000 in patented Termidor termiticide/insecticide treatment to help defeat these all-too-common insect invaders.
Nominations will be accepted on the saveastud.com Web site between now and Aug. 3, 2009. Ten semifinalists will be selected by a BASF-sponsored panel of judges.
The public will select the grand prize winner by casting votes on saveastud.com from Aug. 17 to Sept. 7, 2009.
One grand prize winner will be announced on or about Sept. 21, 2009. BASF will treat the winning home with Termidor and provide a post-treatment monitoring system at a total cost of up to $10,000.
