ST. LOUIS, Mo. - BASF Pest Control Solutions announced that Jeff Vannoy has been promoted to regional sales manager for the Southern United States and Jim Derbyshire will assume the role of regional sales manager for the Northern United States. In these regions, Vannoy and Derbyshire will spearhead implementation of the company’s strategy and oversee sales activities.
“Jeff Vannoy has worked in the pest industry for more than 15 years – with experience ranging from field sales to product management and marketing,” said Keith Holmes, business unit manager for BASF Pest Control Solutions. “This background will be instrumental in helping BASF continue to bring new, innovative tools to the industry, including the recently introduced Prescription Treatment brand Alpine ant and termite foam, pressurized insecticide and dust insecticide, and new dry Prescription Treatment brand Phantom pressurized insecticide.”
Most recently, Vannoy worked as the product manager for the BASF termiticide portfolio. Vannoy received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Central Missouri State University.
“Jim Derbyshire is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience,” said Holmes. “The majority of this experience is in the North, so transferring him to regional sales manager for the Northern region will allow him to return to his roots and leverage his expertise.”
Mike Toce will continue as regional sales manager for the Western United States. Toce has held various sales and marketing positions within BASF and has more than 25 years of sales, marketing and management experience. Vannoy, Derbyshire and Toce will report to Steve Racioppe, national sales manager for BASF.
