NEW BERLIN, Wis. — Batzner Pest Control has earned it a spot in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Top Workplaces list for the sixth time in seven years in addition to a honorable mention.
“The growth and positive change we’ve experienced is a product of the legendary service our team members provide every day,” said Jerry Batzner, CEO and President. “If team members feel valued and we’re connected with what’s important to them, they’ll certainly be engaged with the company and our customers. We strive to create a place that allows our employees to learn and grow together.”
As a family-owned company, Batzner Pest Control has created an atmosphere where employees feel like family. The company encourages a work/life balance and provides a well-rounded compensation and benefits package. The Batzner team has grown since the company won its first Top Workplaces award. Over the past six years, Batzner’s workforce has grown approximately 45%.
As the saying goes, the family that plays together stays together. Batzner keeps its employees involved outside of the workplace through a series of community outreach and social events. Batzner team members and their families get together at regular employee outings and are often seen representing the company at community events like Relay for Life, New Berlin Safety Saturday and Ronald McDonald House.
“As a company, we’ve always valued being active in the community and our employees champion that through their involvement in community and charity events,” Batzner said.
Batzner employees are doing more than coming to a job every day; they are growing as professionals through ongoing training and development programs provided by Batzner.
“We’re honored to once again receive this award and be recognized among so many great workplaces in Southeastern Wisconsin,” Batzner said. “A team dedicated to serving our clients, along with the Batzner mission and vision, is essential to our success as a company.”
