The announcement was made by Jerry Batzner, president of the business that provides homes and businesses with professional pest management services.
“The public is invited to attend our celebration, which will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.,” Batzner says. “We’ll have a few surprises to offer, including a unique ribbon cutting ceremony featuring area dignitaries, door prizes, and the opportunity to participate in two fun events—a bug identification contest and a bug trivia contest.”
The Batzner organization has also invited local and state government officials, members of local chambers of commerce, state health officials, and presidents of state and national pest management associations.
Batzner employees will also conduct tours of the new facilities and will have historical photos of the early Batzner organization on display.
BATZNER EARNS QUALITYPRO SCHOOLS DESIGNATION. In other news, Batzner Pest Management announced that it has earned the QualityPro Schools designation, meaning that the company recognizes that pests in schools need to be managed in a careful and environmentally responsible way.
Becoming a QualityPro Schools company means that Batzner Pest Management has taken extraordinary steps to ensure that schools can rely on us. In addition to fulfilling the thorough and in-depth QualityPro requirements, Batzner Pest Management has trained all of its schools technicians and salespeople on specific school IPM techniques above and beyond any state requirements.
"Becoming QualityPro Schools was important to me, because I believe the management of pests in a sensitive environment like a school demands special care," Batzner said. "This designation, like the QualityPro program, offers schools solid proof of the careful way my company offers its services in schools."
QualityPro Schools companies have met qualifications built around five key principles: Business Operations, Consumer Relations, Environmental Stewardship, Technician Training, and School Integrated Pest Management. These qualifications include employing only highly trained, credentialed employees; offering a clear, easy-to- understand warranty; maintaining a drug-free workplace; advertising truthfully and ethically; and maintaining an up-to-date insurance policy.
