Bayer ES Names Michael Newhouse GIC Marketing Manager

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK — Bayer Environmental Science announced that Michael Newhouse is the company’s new marketing manager, general insect control (GIC). In this role, Newhouse will oversee sales promotion, product management and marketing communications initiatives for GIC brands including TempoÒ Ultra, SuspendÒ, DeltaDustÒ, and DeltaGardÒG.

“Michael understands what it means to our customers to be ‘Backed By Bayer’ and, under his direction, Bayer ES will continue to help PMPs grow their businesses with our trusted GIC product lines,” says Peter Farno, director of marketing, Professional Pest Management, Bayer Environmental Science.

Newhouse and his family will relocate to the Raleigh, N.C. area, where he will be based at Bayer ES headquarters in Research Triangle Park, N.C. Most recently, Newhouse was a marketing manager in the pharmaceutical division of Bayer Corporation in West Haven, Conn. In addition to holding various other sales and marketing positions in the healthcare industry, Newhouse served in the United States Navy and is an Operation Desert Storm veteran. He earned a B.S. in Biology from Dowling College, Oakdale, NY.
