“Shawn’s experience as a PMP, and on the marketing side of our business, will enable him to provide an unprecedented level of service and support to our valued customers in the Northeast,” says Pete Farno, director of marketing, Professional Pest Management.
Previously, Mullen served as market manager, General Insect Control, where he led marketing efforts for GIC brands including Tempo, Suspend, DeltaGard and DeltaDust. Mullen will transition to his new role effective immediately.
“I am looking forward to the opportunity to work in the field again and with the many great companies in the Northeast,” says Mullen.
Mullen, who joined Bayer in July of 2003, brings almost 20 years of experience in the pest control industry to his new role. He is a member of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and has spoken frequently at New Jersey Pest Management Association and NPMA meetings. Mullen also serves in the American Society of Quality Control, the American Society of Training and Development, the Entomology Society of America, and Pi Chi Omega, the national entomology fraternity.
