Bayer ES Offers TopChoice in 10-Pound Bags

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Bayer Environmental Science announces the availability of TopChoice 10-pound bags. PMPs can now purchase these bags from all authorized Bayer ES distributors.

“Each bag treats 5,000 square feet, a very common yard size,” says Gordon Morrison, Maxforce Business Manager for Bayer Environmental Science. “The smaller, waterproof package size makes it easier for professionals to measure, store and control inventory costs.”

TopChoice is a low-dose, granular insecticide that is spread over lawns and beds like fertilizer, creating an exclusion zone where no fire ant can survive. A single professional application can be applied at any time of the year and cures both existing mounds and prevents new mounds from forming for one full year.

TopChoice takes advantage of the natural behavior of ants. Within the first four to six weeks of a TopChoice application, ants unknowingly come in contact with the product and bring it back to contaminate and eliminate the rest of the mound in what is known as the “Domino Effect™.” The product binds to the soil to prevent new colonies from forming.
