RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — Bayer Environmental Science announced that David Braness has been hired as Northwest Area Sales Manager for Bayer’s Professional Pest Management (PPM) business, responsible for serving customers in Alaska, Arizona, northern California, northern Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
“We are very excited to welcome David to the Bayer team,” says Josh Shoemaker, Western regional manager. “With David’s hands-on experience in the field, combined with his background in sales and management, we know he will bring great value to our customers and industry partners.”
Braness began his career at Poor Boy Termite Control, based out of Scottsdale, Ariz., where he worked as a termite technician and termite inspector. He then worked as a service manager for Terminix International in Phoenix, Ariz., and relocated to Las Vegas, Nev. as part of the company’s management trainee program. Prior to joining Bayer, Braness worked for Massey Services in Orlando, Fla., starting as a manager trainee with a promotion to general manager.
Braness received a bachelor of science in business administration from Arizona State University, where he spent a summer interning for renowned rodentologist Dr. Bobby Corrigan in Richmond, Ind.
