Copesan is an alliance of regional pest management firms that are united as a single entity to provide quality pest management solutions to businesses with locations throughout North America. Technical directors from the organization’s affiliate companies comprise the Copesan Technical Committee.
On June 8, members of the committee attended a range of research presentations on the control of cockroaches, fire ants, flies, and termites. To support their research, Bayer ES provided demonstrations with Maxforce® FC Select, Premise®, featuring the exclusive Domino Effect™, and Maxforce Fly Bait.
Participants also engaged in an industry dialogue, during which members of the technical committee weighed in on everything from product and service needs, to training requirements and industry trends from the field. “Because the members of the Copesan Technical Committee are leading industry experts, it’s important for a manufacturer like Bayer to connect and share information with them to make sure our research efforts are going in the right direction and will provide effective pest management solutions that will enhance their business,” says Jim Dotson, Copesan representative for Bayer ES.
The day concluded with a tour and private dinner for the committee at the Magic Wings Butterfly Insectarium, which is sponsored by Bayer CropScience and part of the North Carolina Museum of Life and Science in Durham.
