Bayer CropScience Joins International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA)

ISSA is a resource for information, education, networking and commercial opportunities, as well as the leading voice within government and the cleaning industry community.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – As part of its commitment to preserving public health and raising awareness of the value of professional pest management in commercial settings, Environmental Science, a division of Bayer CropScience LP, has become a member of the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA). This worldwide cleaning industry association is the preeminent resource for information, education, networking and commercial opportunities, as well as the leading voice within government and the cleaning industry community.

“We are extremely excited about the industry education, global connections and commercial opportunities our ISSA membership provides us within the janitorial sanitation market,” said Scott Broaddus, western key account manager for Bayer’s professional pest management business in North America. “As one of few professional pesticide manufacturers represented in this segment, we hope to enforce the importance of professional pest control and bring forth our solutions for other ISSA members’ needs.”

As a manufacturer member of ISSA, Bayer has the opportunity to meet with industry peers and potential commercial business partners to provide professional pest control solutions that primarily treat bed bugs, cockroaches, ants and flies. Newly released Temprid® ReadySpray, which provides the premium performance of Temprid and Bayer’s Ready-to-Spray technology in an easy-to-use can, is just one of the solutions Bayer is offering other ISSA-member companies for use in a variety of treatment locations.

“Establishing new relationships and opportunities within this business segment will help us better understand the janitorial sanitation industry, the business values of ISSA members and how we can deliver those values with our pest control solutions,” Broaddus said. “We look forward to contributing to the global cleaning community, and like ISSA, help further the appreciation for cleaning, specifically professional pest control, as an investment in human health and the environment.”
