RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.— Bayer Environmental Science announced that Eric Lentz has been named general insect control (GIC) and termite market manager.
“We are thrilled to work with Eric in his new role,” says Chris Pienaar, head of PPM, “His wide breadth of experience both in field sales and in marketing across several Bayer divisions will be an important asset in his new role with the GIC and termite team."
Lentz most recently served as the vector business manager, and looks forward to managing Bayer's GIC and termite businesses. “This is an exciting yet challenging time for the professional pest management industry," says Lentz. "I look forward to helping deliver the solutions pest management professionals need to perform their services more efficiently."
Lentz joined Bayer in 1995, serving as PPM field sales representative (FSR) in central Florida for four years and in Georgia for seven years. In addition to pest management, Eric has also had responsibilities for Bayer’s Turf & Ornamental business in the southeast. As an FSR, Lentz served as the National Account Team Leader, assisting the National Accounts Manager with customer relations for national pest management firms. With his vast experience in the field, he then joined Bayer headquarters as the vector business manager. Lentz has 13 years of pest management industry experience and holds a B.S. in entomology from The University of Delaware. He will continue to be based at Bayer ES headquarters in Research Triangle Park, N.C.
