Bayer Releases “Innovations in Pest Management” Seminar DVD

The free DVD showcases presentations by Dr. Austin Frishman and Bayer’s Joe Barile.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C.  – On the heels of their successful 20-city “Innovations in Pest Management” seminar tour, Dr. Austin Frishman — a.k.a. “Dr. Cockroach” — and Bayer’s Joe Barile will make one more presentation, this time on DVD. The “Innovations in Pest Management” seminar DVD highlights Dr. Frishman’s top tips for bed bug control, as well as Barile’s insight on cockroach bait aversion issues, perimeter ant treatments, and how to choose the right pest control formulations.

“Whether pest management professionals attended the “Innovations in Pest Management” seminar series in their hometown or plan to watch the presentations on DVD at their convenience, access to valuable training tools is part of what being Backed by Bayer is all about,” says Gordon Morrison, Maxforce Insecticides Market Manager.

The “Innovations in Pest Management” DVD contains more than a dozen presentations from Dr. Frishman and Barile, including the history of bed bug control, bed bug biology, communicating with the customer, and how to avoid common treatment mistakes. Dr. Frishman also provides in-depth advice on eliminating bed bug infestations in hotels, with a focus on treating the furniture, mattress, box spring, bed frame, and other problematic treatment areas, such as electrical outlets, floors, walls and ceilings. Barile provides product recommendations for treating bed bug infestations, as well as insight into the benefits of dust applications and when to use a gel bait versus bait stations for cockroach and perimeter ant control.
