Bayer to Offer CEU Credit for Mobile University Trainings in More States

The Bayer Environmental Science Mobile University is offering continuing education units for Mobile University trainings.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. — The Bayer Environmental Science Mobile University is offering continuing education units for Mobile University trainings.

“Most states require ongoing professional training. On behalf of our customers, Bayer field sales representatives across the country are working with state regulators to provide CEUs for Mobile University trainings,” says Dr. Joe Hope, manager of field development and technical service for Bayer.

Since the launch of Bayer Environmental Science’s Mobile University in December 2004, pest management professionals across the nation have benefited from the latest termite training courses right at their doorsteps, Bayer says. In response to pest management professionals’ requests, the Mobile University has expanded its course trainings to include education for treating ants, roaches and other pests.

Bayer has outfitted two new mobile units in the western and central regions of the country. “We want to provide our own specialized training and expertise to customers in all areas of the country, which is part of the Backed by Bayer promise,” Hope says.

The Bayer Environmental Science Mobile University is the roving arm of Bayer’s Research and Development facility in Clayton, N.C., where hundreds of pest management professionals have attended Premise Termite Elimination trainings. As hundreds more began to ask for additional training opportunities, Bayer took its curriculum on the road. Equipped with treatment equipment, simulated construction equipment (such as piers, foundation walls, slabs, etc.), examples of termite damage, and safety equipment, the Mobile University is managed by Bayer’s own Research and Development staff.
