TULSA, Okla. - Faced with a bed bug infestation, the Tulsa Central Library called in a special helper to assist, Oklahoma's News on 6 reports.
Ms. Liberty Belle is a two-year-old beagle and one of the state's only bed bug sniffing dogs, of K9 Special Forces, Norman, Okla. The company says that trained dogs can sniff out bed bugs with up to 95 percent accuracy.
News on 6 reports that K9 special forces was called in after the library was closed last Tuesday, when bed bugs were discovered on furniture on the third floor. Handler Glen Collymore told the TV station that Liberty typically works a room in a left to right pattern and alerts her owner by pawing at a infested area.
