BEAPCO Unit is a Plug-In Monitor

The BEAPO unit can be included as a component to a PMP’s proactive bed bug control program. The BEAPCO unit combines a fully functional surge protector and a built-in heat generator which bed bugs and other crawling insects attempt to seek out. The edges of the trap easily allow bed bugs and other crawling insects to climb up, seeking heat and harborage. The cartridges last for three months and can be replaced, the manufacturer reported. Should PMPs require a higher level of monitoring, BEAPCO offers a removable CO2 generator. The unit plugs into the Surge Protector adding CO2 to the heat and lure already in place. The CO2 generator lasts for 7 days and replacement refills are available, the manufacturer reports. The product is available from distributors or by emailing sales@beapco.ca.
