MADISON, Wis. - Stephen Sullivan has joined Bell Laboratories as the technical sales representative for the southeast United States where he represents Bell products to distributors and pest management professionals (PMPs) in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Sullivan works with Bell distributors on the marketing and use of Bell products and assists them in setting up training programs for their sales staff and local technicians. He provides technical assistance on pest control strategies, including consulting with PMPs at rodent infestation sites. Sullivan also represents Bell at industry trade shows.
Sullivan brings more than eight years of sales and product management experience to his position. Most recently he was a territory manager for Pittman Industrial Marketing in Marietta, Ga., where he represented over 12 manufacturers in a three-state territory. Prior to that, he managed the daily operation for an industrial distributor which earned him numerous awards for outstanding sales achievement.
His experience also includes category development managment where he collected and analyzed research data and made recommendations to clients for future sales growth.
Originally from St. Petersburg, Fla., Sullivan holds a bachelor's degree from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn. While in school, he interned in marketing and advertising with the Bristol Motor Speedway.
He's spent recent weeks meeting Bell distributors and technicians. "Bell is a good company and I'm looking forward to working with our customers," he said.
Sullivan is based in Marietta, Ga.
