NEW YORK — Michael Broder, president of BHB Pest Elimination, announced the company’s first acquisition and welcomed Anthony Merk and all of Tri-County Pest Control customers to the BHB family.
Both BHB and Tri-County are long established companies. Merk founded Belleville, N.J.-based Tri-County in 1978 and the acquisition gives BHB a solid foothold in New Jersey.
“By joining forces, we gain the size and strength to continue our growth and provide our customers even greater services long into the future,” Broder said.
Merk will be staying on for a couple of months to ensure a smooth transition, then will be retiring to Florida to join his two sons.
BHB Pest Elimination was founded in 1969 by Michael’s father, Benjamin Broder. Michael has been with BHB since he was 12 and joined full time after college.
