Roll started with American, then known as the American Disinfectant Company, in 1932 as a service technician, became president in 1975, and retired in 1987 after 55 years of dedicated service.
Current President Jay Nixon says, “It was my distinct privilege to know and work with Bill Roll. He led by example and will always be remembered for his kind words and cheerful disposition.”
Roll lost his wife of 63 years, Nona, in 1997. Roll was always active in and supportive of NPMA (known then as NPCA) and local pest control associations. He was on the committee that produced the first Serviceman’s Manual for NPCA in 1955.
