Redfield, Bristol, UK — Founded in 1870, Octavius Hunt is the largest formulator of smoke pesticides in Europe and has been supplying the pest control industry for more than 35 years. And at this year’s the National Pest Management Association’s convention in Dallas, the company unveiled its new natural range of pest control products.
Following demand from distributors and pest management professionals, Octavius Hunt researched and developed a range of smoke generators, total release aerosols and sprays containing only essential oils. Harnessing the natural pest repellency of essential oils and utilizing ingredients listed on the EPA 25b and 4A list, this range is considered to contain minimum risk pesticides and therefore does not have to be registered in selected states.
For indoor use from horticulture to sensitive pest control accounts, the products are designed to deliver wide ranging applications in hard to reach areas. The range of products includes mosquito control, mole smoke, broad range insecticide for horticultural applications and home treatments for fleas, bed bugs and cockroaches.
The products received a great amount of attention at the PestWorld exhibition. “We have been attending this conference for a number of years but have never experienced such an interest in our products as we have with this new range, we have established contacts with some very large distributors and hope to have this range selling throughout the states very shortly,” said Managing Director Adrian Cox.
