LOS ANGELES — Bird Barrier America, Carson, Calif., recently celebrated 30 years in business.

The company started out with two bird deterrent patents, Daddi Long Legs and Bird Coil, and now the company has more than 25 patented products that pest management professionals can use for bird control.

Bird Barrier will launch two new products this year. The first was Bird Skip, a wind-powered deterrent, that was revealed last month.

The company expanded their online certification with a master’s certification class, and recently opened ProL@bb, a bird control studio that offers in person classes, virtual online classes and hands-on training from an interactive learning center to reach a global market of PMPs.

Cameron Riddell, the company’s president, said he’s excited about what comes next for Bird Barrier.

"It's mind boggling to think we started Bird Barrier 30 years ago,” he said. “We take pride in helping PMP's grow their bird control business and we look forward to continuing this in the future."
