Public relations, trade show management and SEO/web marketing for Bird-X is now handled by Dave Kogan. Bird-X also recognized Warehous Manager Joyce Dall for 30 years of service.

CHICAGO – Bird-X announced the hiring of Dave Kogan as marketing manager. Kogan coordinates and manages all the marketing functions for Bird-X, Inc and its subsidiaries including the management of their advertising, public relations, trade show management and SEO/web marketing.

“Bird-X is going through a tremendous growth period and wanted to bring in a marketing professional who could help take Bird-X to the next level,” said Joe Seid, national sales manager at Bird-X. “We want to break out of our niche and sell our proven humane bird pest control products to more markets, and the addition of Dave has been crucial to that goal.”

Kogan has more than 12 years experience in the marketing field, having recently developed a very successful PR program for the company that makes the Oscar awards. His background includes managing marketing programs, developing PR strategies and creating advertising plans for large and small manufacturers. “There are a lot of avenues to pursue and Bird-X keeps producing top-of-the-line products that not only help companies and people, but also have been at the forefront of the 'green' revolution since their inception in 1964. Creating new marketing and public relations programs will be an exciting challenge, especially since I'd love to see Bird-X, Inc [and its subsidiaries] promoted to new and different markets outside of its niche,” said Kogan.

BIRD-X RECOGNIZES 30-YEAR EMPLOYEE JOYCE DALL. Bird-X also celebrated the outstanding dedication of its warehouse manager, Joyce Dall, for 30 years of service. “Joyce is really the backbone of the company,” says Ron Schwarcz, president, Bird-X. “Her unwavering commitment to the job, on-time shipping, and her love for the company not only makes the warehouse run smoothly, but affects everyone who works with and around her. She is truly one of our best assets.”

Dall started with Bird-X, Inc. in March of 1978 as a packaging clerk. For 20 years she worked her way up through the ranks earning several promotions, the first to a clerk/typist in the front office. She was then promoted to order entry coordinator and finally to office manager. It was then that Joyce was looking for a change in her career and took on the role of warehouse manager where she has been for the last ten years. “I'm really fortunate to have been with Bird-X and know that I am a part of this fantastic company,” says Dall. “Bird-X, Inc has grown so much over the last 30 years and I'm glad to know that I have had something to do with that.”

“One of Joyce’s best attributes is her commitment to the customers,” says Alison James, resource manager, Bird-X. “She will go the distance to satisfy any customer request and make sure they are happy with their experience.”

Bird-X recently held an employee appreciation event which was a surprise 30th anniversary celebration for Dall. “Everyone was in on the surprise but me, I had no idea,” said Joyce. “They made me feel really special during an event that was supposed to be about them {the employees] as well.”
