OXFORD, Ga. — Bizzy Bee Exterminators finalized the purchase of Ace Exterminating Company on April 1, 2014.
Family-owned and -operated, Bizzy Bee is a leading pest and termite control company with a main office located in Oxford, Ga. Bizzy Bee purchased Ace Exterminating Company, located in Lilburn, Ga., with the goal of expanding their market into northeast Atlanta and Gwinnett County.
Bizzy Bee Exterminators has been servicing homes and businesses across the Metro Atlanta area since 1972. Bizzy Bee takes pride in their ability to service commercial and residential properties, including medical facilities, school systems, restaurants and more. Finalized in April 2014, the acquisition of Ace Exterminating Company (formerly owned by the brother and sister pair of Tony Gable and Tammy Nolan), allows Bizzy Bee to grow a well-established business by adding services and expanding the geographical area of service.
“I am excited by this acquisition for many reasons”, said Brook Collins, second generation owner of Bizzy Bee Exterminators. “Both companies were operated by a legacy of pest management professionals. I worked for my dad and they worked for their parents before taking over. We share very similar core principles.”
With Bizzy Bee Exterminator’s acquisition of Ace Exterminating Company, the Newton County-based business added 10 new employees for a total of 37 in all, and boasts three office locations (Oxford, Lilburn and Grovetown).
“We now can provide a wider range of services to Ace customers, so I think it is a great opportunity to take a well-established business to the next level and grow it,” Collins said.
