GILBERT, Ariz.. — Blue Sky Pest Control, serving the greater Phoenix metro region, has introduced two new services called PURE IPM and PURE IPM Plus. The company has earned Green Shield Certification for these new services.
To earn the certification, Blue Sky Pest Control passed a rigorous evaluation conducted by the IPM Institute of North America at their facilities in Gilbert, Arizona. The company is the 42nd nationally to earn the certification.
Green pest control follows the principles of Integrated Pest Management, or IPM. This means the company's new service focuses on solving pest problems with long-term, preventive strategies. All pests need food, water and shelter to survive. PURE IPM and PURE IPM Plus services utilize inspections and close monitoring to identify and put a stop to pest-friendly conditions.
"Blue Sky prides itself on its ability to establish solid programs that cater to the specific requirements of our customers," says Nate Woolf, owner. "The PURE IPM and PURE IPM services are effective options for Phoenix residents seeking a greener approach."
Dr. Thomas Green, President of the IPM Institute of North America, says that Blue Sky's IPM approach is unique and committed. "We were impressed with their meticulous recordkeeping and their focus on training and educating their own staff and the public about IPM," he says. Blue Sky has offered training on IPM for Bedbugs to Central Arizona Shelter Services along with similar seminars to organizations and companies throughout the Valley.
