Steven Blum, a long-time pest management professional and author, is retiring from the industry and is making his extensive library of industry books available for purchase.
Blum has worked for his family’s pest control company, Acme Pest Control, as well as Waltham Services and his current employer, Ehrlich/Rentokil. In a career that spans 40 years, Blum also has written feature articles for publications such as PCT, Executive Housekeeping Today, Journal of Housing and Community Technology and others.He and Harry Katz authored a chapter in the seventh edition of the Mallis Handbook of Pest Control.
Blum will be moving to his wife’s home country, Guatemala and will be liquidating his extensive library of more than 200 books on pest management and entomology, which includes several pre-WWII books, trade and academic textbooks, early editions of Mallis and Purdue books, and other rare, hard-to-find books.
